“Carmen” is traditionally a four-act grand opera, but under the creative ear of OSU’s Director of Opera A. Scott Parry, the Georges Bizet masterpiece has been unconventionally transformed into a one-act opera comique with spoken dialogue throughout the show.

Performed in French with English supertitles and set to Bizet’s original music, OSU’s “Carmen” explores how the opera can reveal personal hidden truths. Tickets are $20.
