Bridesmaid

3:55 p.m. Friday, Offramp Stage

Watch — in broad daylight — slow, dark metal ooze from the land of fire into the easygoing airwaves of a peace-and-love party. It’ll feel so surreal and sound so refreshing. —Jackie Mantey

Pink Reason

5:45 p.m. Friday, Offramp Stage

Now featuring Guinea Worms’ Gary Brownstein and Nervosas’ Jeff Kleinman on guitar, Kevin Failure’s dark-tinged rock ’n’ roll band is looking more and more like a Columbus punk scene dream (nightmare?) team. —Chris DeVille

The End of the Ocean

6:30 p.m. Friday, Offramp Stage

Adrift on a raft, the blue sky above and the blue ocean below merge into a single reality. The blinding warmth of the sun is a strange comfort as you roll over wave after wave, slightly disoriented, but beautifully alive. This is The End of the Ocean, Columbus’ best post-rock instrumental band. Prepare to be lulled into chaotic bliss. —Justin McIntosh

Micah Schnabel

7:40 p.m. Friday, Solar Stage

You also shouldn’t miss Two Cow Garage closing out the Offramp Stage on Sunday evening, but co-frontman Micah Schnabel’s solo set on Friday is a sure bet for goosebumps. His blend of assaultive acoustic guitar and raspy, stabbed-heart wail will be a shot in the arm for the Solar Stage. — Brad Keefe

Barely Eagle

10:15 p.m. Friday, Offramp stage

Closing out Friday night is Barely Eagle, a four-piece hard rock/punk group that might be one of my favorite acts scheduled. They are all veterans of the Columbus music scene, but have been gaining popularity around town over the past year for their new band, and have generally impressed the pants off everyone. —Meghan Ralston
