ComFest will always be “the party with a purpose” even if for most people that purpose is to get drunk, catch up with old friends, people-watch and see some bands. Let’s not ignore the event’s social and civic legacy: It contributes to numerous local charities and raises awareness for progressive causes one mug at a time.
