For the last — but certainly not least feature in Alive’s Ultimate Party Patio Contest, we head to a popular spot in Dublin. The Bogey Inn has long been a destination for golfer and golf fans watching the Memorial Tournament, but it’s a lively place all summer long for partier of all kinds.
The massive outdoor patio is a veritable playground for fun-seeking adults. There is a full bar with plenty of seating, and the live music stage is rocking weekly, Thursday-Saturday. The four sand volleyball courts offer exercise for those looking to stay active while they party. The patio is also party covered so you can cool off in the shade after an intense match.
The best time to take advantage of outdoor imbibing at Bogey Inn is during happy hour. The specials are plentiful and cover everything from beer and wine to hand-crafted seasonal cocktails. From 2-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, patrons will be sipping on five for $15 domestic pounder (16 oz.) buckets. Imports and craft pounder buckets, featuring Corona and Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy, are 5 for $18.
Most seasonal cocktails are $5 during happy hour, with a couple $7 offerings. Bogey Inn is getting ready to roll out a new seasonal cocktail menu — which the bar does frequently — soon with Mai Tai and Blue Hawaiian drinks and a coconut margarita.
Bogey Inn has also moved forward with its craft beer selection and will be holding a Christmas in July events with winter seasonal from Ohio breweries coinciding with Ultimate Party Patio event on July 25.
