Get this, candy kids: Paul Oakenfold was born way back in 1963. That’s before all that hippie culture that you might have thunk represented the beginning of recorded history, or at the least first time women put flowers in their hair.
That means the trance pioneer has withstood decades of electronic music history, a history he helped shape. From England to Ibiza to these United States, he’s been rocking parties since before you were born — not to mention producing hits, scoring movies and headlining festivals.
Thursday, he returns to Columbus. Joining Oakenfold at Sugar Bar 2 will be Aaron Austen & Tony DeSaro, Corrupt and B Funk of Dave Rave plus a front room lineup of Culmination, Falsteeze and Gunting.
