Name: Laura Bice
Hometown: Smethport, Pennsylvania
Day jobs: Accountant; stylist for Winnie & Kat clothing line
Style icons: 16-year-old stepdaughter, Diane Keaton, Diane Prince Johnston (founder of Winnie & Kat clothing line)
Describe your style: "Comfortable, versatile and casual."
Wrap Sweater: From Winnie & Kat, a new national direct sale clothing line. "I love the fit. The material is nice and soft. Easy care is very important to me. It's gotta still be wearable even if it's sat in the dyer for a couple days. I love Winnie & Kat [which sends stylists to hostesses' homes so guests can shop at home] because it's more convenient than going to the malls but not as impersonal as shopping online."
Boots: Plato's Closet. "I used to be more of a heels and dress pants kind of girl until I got pregnant. I had my daughter in May, and I have a lot less time for me now. I like to wear stylish things that are more comfortable now and easy to care for." Try a waterproofing shoe protectant for suede or faux suede boots.
Jeans: Threadup.com, an online consignment shop. "It's like Plato's Closet but online. They send you a bag that has all the shipping paid for already and you fill it up with all your unwanted clothes and mail it to them. They will send you a check or let you shop online with your store credit. Anything they don't want they donate. It's one shot and done. It's so convenient."
Blouse: Thrift store find. "I'm a sucker for Ohio Thrift's half off sales the middle and last Wednesday of every month. I signed up for their email alerts so now I get a reminder before each sale. My best find was a light pink leather biker jacket for $7."
Jewelry: From her grandmother's jewelry box, which she was recently bequeathed. "I think of her whenever I wear her pieces."
Bracelets: Forever 21
Lips: "I use lip liner and then fill it in. I think it lasts longer than lipstick or gloss."
Hair: "I curl it using a straightening iron."
