Home Court Advantage: The newest bar/restaurant on the OSU Campus is the best thing to hit Buckeyeland in a long while. Handsome and versatile, tile-wood-and-vintage-sign-happy Ethyl and Tank offers a coffee bar, special brunch menu, upstairs (free) gaming chamber, eight great TVs lining its main room, around 20 taps and fantastic happy hours.

Slam Dunk Snack: Spud lovers will dig E&T’s simple but hefty, crispy-hulled potato-boats. More like homey loaded bakers than scooped-out “skins,” they carry what tastes like good barbecue-style pulled pork, gooey/baked-in colby cheese and scallions. Offering tang and heat are swirls of chivey sour cream plus a side of good and spicy salsa.
