Fashion designers from around the world will showcase their collections and lead seminars at FMMF. Here are a few standouts.
Alternative Fashion Mob — Fashion Show
The Alternative Fashion Mob is a collection of fashion designers, industry professionals and couture enthusiasts dedicated to furthering the fashion industry in Columbus. The Mob is a driving force behind Alternative Fashion Week and features the work of Columbus designers like Kelli Martin (Anti.Label), Betsy Stevenson (Elizabeth Ashleigh Designs), Madeleine Etter (Phyllis + Hazel), Esther Hall (Torn Angel) and more.

Althea Harper — Seminar
Learn from the best at this seminar featuring Dayton-born and New York-based Althea Harper (best known as the runner-up on “Project Runway’s” sixth season), the designer and entrepreneur behind her eponymous fashion line. She’s also known for chic knitwear collections, which are popular with Hollywood and music celebrities.

“Unchained” — Runway Show
“Unchained” is a performance-art fashion show that aims to raise awareness of human trafficking. Season 5 “Project Runway” designer Korto Momolu designed the collection, which was first shown in Liberia by Amani Africa with the purpose of celebrating women in the aftermath of the Liberian Civil War.
