The Ohio Bacon Festival takes place this Friday, Sept. 25, from 4 to 10:30 p.m. at the Columbus Commons. The night will feature restaurants and food trucks serving bacon-themed dishes, as well as a bacon-eating competition.

Cravings Carryout Cafe, which was recently forced to move from its Italian Village location, is staying alive in two different spots. Last week they began selling "Hop-Pockets" at North High Brewing. The savory pastries are filled with items like bulgogi cheesesteak, veggies, chorizo and pizza ingredients, and are dusted with Columbus hops. Bodega has also begun selling Cravings' bronuts (brioche donuts) on Saturdays and Sundays.

Fusian opens at 855 W. Fifth Ave. in Grandview next week Monday, Sept. 28. This makes for the third location for the fast casual sushi restaurant; locations near Ohio State's campus and at Easton are already open, and a Clintonville spot is opening later this fall.

Acre Farm-to-Table has added a breakfast menu. They've begun opening at 7 a.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. on weekends. The new menu features frittatas, granola, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt parfaits and fruit and nut bars.

Sweet Carrot Casual Cuisine announced the addition of a second brick-and-mortar location at 752 High St. in Old Worthington. The restaurant will open some time in 2016, while their upcoming Grandview location in the old Rife's Market will open this fall.

The monthly Warmth brunch pop-up at Ace of Cups takes place this Sunday, Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Brewcadia, an arcade and taproom on the second floor of Barley's Brewing Company, will open this fall. It will feature vintage arcade games and 40 taps of beer.

Speaking of arcades, Level One Bar + Arcade opened last week at 130 Hutchinson Ave. in Worthington at the Crosswoods plaza. It features 24 beers on tap plus arcade and pinball games.
