The Madison County sheriff's office is investigating the death of a Circleville woman whose body was discovered yesterday in a driveway near Mount Sterling. The woman was identified as Bridget Blaney, 33, of Elm Avenue, Circleville, said Lt. Eric Semler, chief of detectives for the sheriff's office.
A Circleville woman whose body was found in a Madison County driveway yesterday was last seen walking to a Circleville gas station on Saturday evening.
The Madison County sheriff's office is awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death of Bridget L. Blaney, 33, of Elm Avenue in Circleville. Her death is considered suspicious, but her body did not show any obvious injuries.
Lt. Eric Semler, chief of detectives for the sheriff’s office, said this afternoon that Blaney's family reported that she departed Saturday evening to walk to a gas station to meet a friend for an evening out.
The sheriff’s office was called at 11:28 a.m. yesterday with a report that a woman's body had been found in a driveway at Woods & Opossum Run Rd. near McClimansville Cemetery Road, north of Mount Sterling.
