Brandon Paschel kept the shutout intact with two interceptions and a 24-yard TD pass from Malik Harris.
Beechcroft’s (1-2) Adonis Davis had 60 of the team’s 66 rushing yards.
Westland 28, East 12: D’kahri Scott rushed for 115 yards and Nick Green ran for 103 to pace Westland (1-2) over visiting East (1-2).
Scott scored twice, including a 49-yard run in the second quarter, and Reggie Gilliam caught three passes for 97 yards, including a 54-yard TD in the first quarter.
East quarterback James Curry was 5-of-12 passing for 36 yards and an interception before sustaining an apparent neck injury. He was taken off the field by ambulance. Zayon Mock took over for Curry in the second half and rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown.
Thomas Worthington 35, Eastmoor Academy 12: Tony Harvard rushed for 119 yards and three touchdowns, and Thomas Worthington (2-1) broke away in the second half to beat visiting Eastmoor Academy (1-2).
Harvard scored from the 1-yard line late in the second quarter after Jalen Wells’ interception set up the Cardinals on Eastmoor’s 27.
Harvard ran for two scores in the second half. Martine Perez led Eastmoor with 169 rushing yards on 23 carries, but the rest of the Warriors combined for minus-43 yards on 15 carries.
Watkins Memorial 26, Mifflin 12: Watkins Memorial forced five turnovers on defense in a win at Mifflin (1-2). Senior Zach Lescalleet had two interceptions to lead the Warriors (2-1), who had a 186-42 edge in rushing. Marsaan Banks threw for two touchdowns for Mifflin.
Westerville Central 54, Independence 32: Benny Snell and Alex Fisher each had two touchdown runs to lead Westerville Central (2-1) over host Independence (1-2). Snell led the Warhawks with 95 rushing yards. Ronnie Kuipers had 202 rushing yards and a score for Independence.
Ready 63, Briggs 20: Akili Taylor rushed for 200 yards and four touchdowns, Bran-den Bailey and Jacob Hall added two more TDs each, and Ready (3-0) dispatched visiting Briggs (0-3).
Franklin Heights 53, West 26: Franklin Heights opened up a 20-0 first quarter lead and totaled 564 yards en route to a shootout win over visiting West.
Central Crossing 10, Brookhaven 7: Luke Duncan passed 26 yards to Colter Bass for the winning touchdown in Central Crossing’s win at Brookhaven (1-2). Duncan threw for 106 yards and rushed for 89 more to account for all but 32 yards of offense for the Comets (1-2).
