Brad Henry has designed a mobile application, Find Brutus that will present a virtual 3D Brutus as a tour guide for Ohio State University.
Alive's Summer Bucket List

Summer ain’t no time for to-do lists; as the song suggests, it should be easy livin’. But those three glorious (scratch that: hot and humid) months we call summer come and go as quickly as an August thunderstorm. Our deadline- (and booze-) addled minds don’t remember much, but we do know how difficult it can be to wring maximum fun out of the summer. One moment you’re planning a Memorial Day cookout and the next you’re preparing for Buckeye football tailgating.

Robert Grimmett has been a successful businessman since before he could get into a PG-13 movie. At 12, he began offering graphic design services and selling office supplies in his hometown of Ravenswood, West Virginia. By the time he was 16, his business opened its first retail store, and Grimmett hired his parents to run it. Eventually he sold that store to his parents and headed off to the Art Institute of Chicago.

Designer Kelli Martin is too much of a badass to be described as just a former contestant on “Project Runway.” Proof of Martin’s badassness? She hates the term “fashion” and everything about the industry. She clashes with industry norms and trends. She named her brand Anti.Label and started the Alternative Fashion Mob in Columbus.

Bob Cook is one of the most respected and well-liked standup comics in Columbus, evidenced by his peers coming out to help him get healthier. Cook will undergo gastric bypass surgery soon so he can get to a healthy weight. While Cook’s health insurance covers the surgery, there are a number of other expenses he must cover himself. So some of Columbus’ best comics have signed on to perform a benefit show with Cook at the Funny Bone next Tuesday.

He’s also founder of STR8NOUT, a support group for straight allies to advocate for LGBTQ equality, and sings with the Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus.
