The latest updates from the Columbus dining and bar scenes

Salt & Pine announced it will close Saturday, Feb. 18. Owned by Grow Restaurants group (Harvest, the Sycamore), Salt & Pine was open Downtown for roughly 15 months.

Fast-casual, farm-to-table restaurant Acre opened a second location at 1717 Northwest Blvd. this week. The eatery is serving lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.

BrewDog announced that the official opening of its taproom and restaurant at the Canal Winchester brewing facility will take place on Monday, Feb. 20. Titled DogTap Columbus, the taproom will open with a selection of BrewDog and Ohio beers, plus a food menu featuring bar favorites. The attached production facility has not yet begun operations.

The Athens, Georgia-based pizza shop Your Pie opens Friday, Feb. 17 at 1011 W. Fifth Ave. in Grandview. Your Pie lets customers build their own pizzas. It also serves salads, panini sandwiches and gelato.

Pittsburgh-based donut chain Peace, Love and Little Donuts will open a franchise in Old Worthington at 656 High St. The shop is slated to open sometime in the late spring.

Build-your-own pizza shop Rapid Fired Pizza opened its first Central Ohio store at 782 S. State St. in Westerville. A second location in Hilliard is coming soon.

The North Market Mix & Shake takes place on Saturday, Feb. 18. Benefiting both the market and the Ohio Distillers Guild, the ticketed event features cocktail tastings and food from market vendors.
