Sean Christopher Gallery marks anniversary with exhibition of Fort Hayes AP students' work

Sean Christopher Gallery in the Short North will be marking its 15th anniversary in representative fashion. The space was conceived as a gallery that would feature emerging and mid-career artists, and often hosts group shows of student work.

The gallery's March exhibition will be “Concentration 9,” its ninth annual exhibition of work created by Advanced Placement Art students from Fort Hayes Arts and Academic High School. Fort Hayes art teacher Teresa Weidenbusch curates.

The gallery “has aimed to provide a public space for emerging artists to display their developing ideas, media execution, experiments, styles and aesthetics. We've seen our mission as being a place for mentoring young talent and older newcomers,” owner John McCutcheon said.
