The latest updates from the Columbus dining and bar scenes

The Westerville location of Northstar Cafe opened last week at 109 S. State St. This is the eatery's fourth Central Ohio location and the fifth overall.

Johnson's Real Ice Cream announced it will open a second retail location at 55 W. Bridge St. in Dublin this coming May.

Scrambler Marie's announced a new fast-casual breakfast and lunch concept called City Egg, the first of which will open at 1478 Bethel Rd. this spring.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams announced a new collection titled, “We're Not From Here. You Belong Here,” featuring unusual and unexpected flavors like the Supermoon with blue violet and vanilla marshmallow ice creams blended together. Half the new collection will be released in Jeni's scoop shops this Friday, March 17, while the remaining flavors will be available in mid-April.

Red Door BBQ announced it will open at 177 S. Cypress Ave. in Franklinton on Saturday, April 1.

Dine Originals Week runs March 20-26, during which the 36 member restaurants offer prix fixe menu items.
