Beat Happening frontman and K Records founder Calvin Johnson brings his DJ persona to Kafe Kerouac

In the early '80s, Calvin Johnson fronted Olympia, Washington indie-pop act Beat Happening and founded influential DIY label K Records in his kitchen. Later he founded Dub Narcotic Studio, where artists like Beck, Modest Mouse, Mirah, Phil Elverum and others recorded albums. It's safe to assume such a person would have a fantastic record collection, and when Johnson is remixing records or playing DJ with a pile of 45s, he goes by the name Selector Dub Narcotic.
