Local artists offer their unique takes on classic works from the CMA permanent collection
This is the second go-round for this cheerful and inventive exhibition, initially hatched by the Sunday Comix group at Wild Goose Creative.
Curated by Canada Keck, “Comics vs. Art II: The Museum Edition” tasked 40 local artists to reimagine a piece from the Columbus Museum of Art's permanent collection in comic art style. The result is a celebration of classic artworks and the growth and impact of comics on the contemporary scene.
The exhibition will remain on view through September.
