A rundown of select films currently playing in theaters
New in theaters:
The movie adaptation of author Vince Flynn's best-selling action series stars “Teen Wolf's” Dylan O'Brien as CIA agent Mitch Rapp, a tough-talking brute who could have emerged from Dick Cheney's wet dreams.
The trailer for “Wetlands,” an Atlantic City crime caper, looks oppressively bleak, with scenes staged on chilly, abandoned beaches and amid trash-strewn alleyways in the shadows of casinos. Heather Graham and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (unrecognizable as the Croc in “Suicide Squad”) star.
This family drama, set in an ultra-orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn, is performed entirely in Yiddish. (Fun IMDb fact: Director Joshua Weinstein doesn't speak Yiddish and required a translator on set.)
The truth is out there in this culture-clash flick, which stars “X-Files” alum Gillian Anderson and Hugh Bonneville in a drama that unfolds against the backdrop of India's transition from British control to independence.
