Chicago pop-rockers bring 'Tasty Waves' to town

Since the early 2000s, this power-pop act led by Chicago brothers Frankie and Patrick O'Malley has been touring the country with infectious guitar ditties that never went out of style and hopefully never will. The Safes released new record Tasty Waves last month; it's a breezy, toe-tapping album with 10 semi-ironic, two-minute songs about wanting to be a millionaire and fighting apathy. RIYL Nada Surf, GBV, the Beatles. (Safe bet)
