Franklinton welcomes the holiday season

Airing of grievances? Feats of strength? All core elements of a quality Festivus celebration. But it's not complete without a trip to Franklinton and 400 West Rich.

Festivus kicks off during Franklinton Fridays on Friday, Dec. 8, and continues all weekend long, with open artist studios, food trucks, specialty brews from Land-Grant Brewing Company, live music, local vendors and more. The artists will also present the collective C-Note Gallery, an annual show featuring original art priced at $100 or less. Artists Lynn Lundholm and Kurt Pyron will be featured in the gallery spaces.

The rest of Franklinton will be in on the Friday fun, including the Ohio State University STEAM Factory talking astronomy, natural resources and organismal biology, the Vanderelli Room hosting another event for Lorenzo Doyle's exhibition, “Keep the Ghost,” and Columbus Idea Foundry's monthly open house.

And if you're checking out Festivus on Sunday, drop by Strongwater Food & Spirits for Creative Babes' Art & Music Market from noon-5 p.m.
