Yeah, Whatever boasts a newfound patience for Senseless – on “The World Awaits,” he sets aside the nightlife, and then “hits pause for a sec” on the ambling “Mosey On In.”

“James R. Hopkins: Faces of the Heartland” opening weekend at Columbus Museum of Art

The Ohio artist built the art program at Ohio State (the building is named Hopkins Hall, after all), but had a notable and ahead-of-his-time career as an artist as well. The Columbus Museum of Art coordinated the assembly and curation of “Faces of the Heartland,” a retrospective which opens this weekend.
