Speckled Hen Market held a soft opening on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 667 High St. in Old Worthington. Operated by the owner of Speckled Hen Farm and The Cluckwagon food truck, the specialty market offers antibiotic- and hormone-free poultry, Ohio-raised beef and locally made provisions.
Darista Dips is throwing a launch party for its new dessert hummus, Like a Girl, Like a Boss Gooey Chocolate Espresso Hummus, at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, at Whole Foods Market Easton. The event will include a panel discussion featuring Darista's founder, Dara Schwartz, and other prominent women entrepreneurs, plus samples of the new Gooey Chocolate Espresso Hummus, which is made with ingredients from women-owned and -run businesses.
