The latest updates from the bar and restaurant scenes

Ill Mannered Brewing Co. breaks ground next week on a new facility at 30 Grace Dr. in Powell. The new building will feature a 1,500-square-foot taproom, 1,500-square-foot brewing space and a large patio. The brewery will host a groundbreaking party at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28.

The Rail, a burger-focused chain hailing from Akron, will open its doors on Monday, Feb. 26, at 5839 Frantz Rd. in Dublin. Owner Michael Mariola's full-service restaurant will offer locally sourced beef burgers, plus sandwiches, steaks and Ohio craft beer.

Stauf's Coffee Roasters is nearing a March opening of its newest location at 350 Mt. Vernon Ave. next to BalletMet. Located in the new View on Grant building, this will be Stauf's fifth location.

Harvest Pizzeriawill open a new location at 1099 First Ave. in Grandview. The site's current occupant, Old Bag of Nails, is set to close on Friday, Feb. 23. The new location will put a new spin on Harvest as it teams up with The Butcher & Grocer, located just a few doors down.

The light bulb tea trend is hitting Columbus. Light Bulb Asian Cafe opened last week at 3110 Kingsdale Center in Upper Arlington. The cafe offers Taiwanese bubble teas served in light bulb cups, plus a variety of Chinese, Thai and Malaysian dishes.

Wolf's Ridge Brewing hosts a winter market 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the 215 N. Fourth St. taproom. The market will feature products from local farms and businesses, and beer will start flowing at 10 a.m.

The Downtown lunch spot Stack'd is closed until May 1, according to a sign posted on the door that reads, “We flew South for the winter.” The owner could not be reached for comment.

Rio Fresh Cafe is now open at 50 N. High St. in the space vacated by Phatt Taco. The breakfast and lunch spot offers smoothies, acai bowls, French toast and sandwiches.

Vaso, the new rooftop restaurant and bar at Bridge Park's AC Hotel, now serves brunch 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The Spanish-inspired menu features mimosas served in porrons, avocado toast, lechon Benedict, patatas bravas, seasonal dessert empanadas and more.
