Cult favorite from Belgium brings electric body music to Skully's

What began as an instrumental duo in Brussels in 1981 and later morphed into a full band, Front 242 helped to pioneer a mashup of early techno and industrial sounds known as electronic body music. Though the Belgian act flirted with mainstream popularity in the early '90s, it never seeped into the cultural consciousness in the way some of its disciples did (think Nine Inch Nails). But for fans of avant-garde electro-pop with an aggro edge, a Front 242 show is, like, a big deal. (Safe bet)
