Ron House’s post-Great Plains/TJSA band performs rare show

At the 2007 Rock Potluck, local legend Ron House found himself with guitarists John Olexovitch (the Lindsay) and Brett Burelson (the Bygones), bassist Bobby Silver and drummer Zac Szymusiak (Washington Beach Bums). They called themselves Sandwitch (later switching to Psandwich), and the band's one album, Northren Psych, is an underrated Columbus classic. In recent years, live shows have been few and far between. “I can't be contained by the expectations of my peer group,” sings House, now 61, on “Something to Prove.” “It's only through music that I ever get to glimpse the truth.” (Don't miss it)
