WOOSTER — Tom and Pat (Justice) Gerber, 2890 Meadowbrook Drive, Wooster, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday. They were married Nov. 18, 1967 in Creston Church of God by the Rev. Joe Griffith.
They are the parents of Todd of San Jose, California and Tim (Anne) of San Antonio, Texas. They have one granddaughter.
Mr. Gerber is retired from Rubbermaid Inc. and Metcalf Trucking. He enjoys working in the yard and is a member of Wooster Elks Lodge No. 1346.
Mrs. Gerber retired from the Wooster Brush Co. and is a member of Wooster Emblem Club No. 374. She is a volunteer in the breakfast program at Trinity United Church of Christ, where the couple are members. They enjoy spending time with family and friends.
The Gerbers celebrated their 50th anniversary with a trip in September to France and Italy with their older son, Todd. Their first stop was Paris, then on to Nice, where they were joined by Tom’s brother and sister-in-law, for a week’s stay at Villa Escaliere, a local home. The couple then continued on to Lake Como, Italy with their son.
