WOOSTER — Ballet Wooster will premiere the original ballet "Summer in Paris" on Saturday, April 21 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wooster High School Performing Arts Center.
A spectacle of high spirits, beautiful dancin and fun in old Paris on a sunny afternoon, tickets for the ballet are $12 for adults and $8 for children, students and senior citizens and can be purchased online at www.balletwooster.org or at the door.
In addition to the original ballet, Ballet Wooster’s advanced company dancers will perform original classical ballet variations and modern works choreographed by artistic directors Brenda Schwinn and Stephanie Sustar and instructor Veronica Nolletti.
Complemented by beautiful costumes, backdrops and professional lighting, nearly 70 Ballet Wooster students ages 4-18, as well as guest artists, will take the stage.
Ballet Wooster is a nonprofit ballet school and youth company, whose mission is to promote and inspire the community to be more involved in the arts through non-competitive dance education and quality performances that develop an appreciation of dance and the performing arts.
