The Capital Area Humane Society's swanky annual fundraiser, at which local celebrities - including Alive editor Shelley Mann - serve up great food from local restaurants to raise money for homeless and abandoned animals, returns next Thursday at Huntington Park. In addition to food samples, attendees will get a chance to win raffle prizes like tickets to Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds games, and learn how to adopt a new dog or cat. After the main event, running 6-9 p.m. at the stadium, the fun will move to the exclusive nightclub The Social. Tickets are $45 for the public and $35 for Capital Area Humane Society members.
