Columbus is bursting at the seams with great restaurants, so we shoot a lot of food at Alive. The Purple Rain cupcakes and cocktail from Surly Girl Saloon in the Short North struck me as such a creative but simple take on a dessert that's loved by just about everyone - and is a pretty rare find on a restaurant menu. Mmm cupcakes.
