The whiskey trend is spreading across the country like wildfire and, as major enthusiasts, we couldn't be happier. So imagine our delight when we discovered Barrel 44's unbelievable happy hour.

From 4:30-8 p.m. Monday through Friday, the popular Short North whiskey bar offers half-priced small plates and half-off liquor priced below $5.50, plus $3 draft beers and $4.50 wines by the glass. And that's in addition to a vast selection of Irish, Canadian, Scotch and bourbon whiskies, all served neat or over hand-crafted ice cubes.

Happy hour all the way 'til 8 p.m.?! And just $2.75 for Buffalo Trace?! Have we died and gone to heaven? We had to agree with Barrel 44 regular Tracie Parsley, who declared the bar to have the "best happy hour in Columbus!"
