Framed and unframed prints, $20

Yumi Yumi

Web: yumiyumi.etsy.com

At last weekend's Tiny Canary sale, a small swarm of people could often be found around Yumi Yumi's booth, greedily thumbing through the clean, whimsical, animal-inspired prints of Columbus-based Brazil native Aline Yamada. For $20, you can pick up a large, unframed, limited-edition print or a smaller piece (like the image shown) that's framed and ready to wrap.

Glass bee ornament, $18

PM Gallery

726 N. High St., Short North

614-299-0860

Web: pmgallery.com

A mecca for handmade glass ornaments, the Short North institution keeps its front window filled with them all year round. While the proprietors were rearranging the display for the holidays, we spotted this lovely little bee, one of several delicate glass winged things hovering from repurposed paper clips, all for under $30.

Glass pendants, $15 each

Neck wire, $4-$5

Tandi's Glass Boutique

Web: tandi11.etsy.com

Some smooth and shimmering, others milky and layered with geometric shapes, Carla Thurmond's fused-glass pendants are made in a variety of sizes and vivid hues, and let go for under $20. In addition to the hanging option of a low-cost magnetic wire, the Reynoldsburg artist also has sterling chains available for a little more through her Etsy store.

Glass sundae dishes, $4 each

Pint of ice cream, $8-$10

Jeni's Ice Creams

Locations in Bexley, Grandview, North Market and Short North

Web: jenisicecreams.com

A multi-part gift is rarely so simple to put together. The Source by Wasserstrom, where these sturdy, color-swirled sundae dishes are for sale, is less than 10 feet from Jeni's North Market location. Combined with a pint of a favorite gourmet flavor, this offers instant gratification. But if you can't keep it in the freezer until it's time to unwrap, get a Jeni's gift card instead.

Head scarves, $8

Circa Circus

84 W. Olentangy St., Powell

614-354-4275

Web: circacircus.blogspot.com

Local crafter Emily-Kitturah Westenhouser uses a variety of pretty vintage fabrics to make these hair scarves, sold under her Umbrella Girl Productions brand. We found them at Circa Circus in the Shops at 84 in Powell, a charming old house filled with work from local artists and crafters and fronted by the Pink Moon Cupcake Bakery. And at only $8 a pop, you can pick up a pair of them for less than $20.
