When Big Rock Little Rooster opened, it brought together two things women go crazy about: wedding dresses and Vera Wang.

The bridal boutique might be discerning, but its owners have kept things far from pretentious by displaying tutus and cowboy boots in the Short North storefront's windows and decorating the walls with pretty drawings - in chalk.

And even if you aren't in the market for a dress, you can still appreciate the excellent name.
