Cool Cocktails

by Sir Thomas the Alcohol Man

If you think it's time for another summer cocktail party, you're absolutely correct. While there are plenty of warm-weather options available—a cold lager or wheat beer, a chilled glass of white wine or rosé—nothing quite tops the cocktail for its outdoor drinkability.

Summer drinks don't need to be complicated. Just try putting some rum and mint into a glass of lemonade and you'll see how easy it can be to make a great drink.

But it's also fun to try a few new things. With some glassware, ice, the appropriate ingredients and a little help from local mixologists, you can have a cocktail party that everyone can enjoy. Don't forget the lawn chairs, and hopefully Mother Nature will keep the rain away.
