Hudson Montessori School hosted a Farm Fresh Fiesta Dinner at the school Aug. 3 for 18 guests.

Tickets were purchased for the event at the school’s annual spring auction.

Chef Rick Nelson from Nosh Creative Catering in Hudson served up some fabulous Mexican dishes, including salsa, roasted vegetables, pescado del dia, tamales, dostacos carnitas and tres leches for dessert. Nelson appeared before the guests before each course, describing the course and the origin of the food served, mostly derived from his gardens.

Registration is open

Registration is open for Hudson Montessori School’s parent/?toddler class.

The program was created for toddlers (18 months up to three years) and a parent/?caregiver to attend together. In an exploration of the world around them, children and adults will navigate this early learning experience together, making choices of how they will participate in play activities, story time, cultural activities (art, music, science) and snack time.

Not only is this a wonderful time for toddlers to interact with others, but also a time for adults to discuss topics which are of interest to parents of the young child. Classes are offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 10 to 11:15am. Contact the school at 330-650-0424 for information.
