The pop star headlines Nationwide Arena in May

With new album Man of the Woods set for a Feb. 2 release, Justin Timberrrrr!-lake (I’ll see myself out) just announced a North American tour, which includes a Columbus stop at Nationwide Arena on May 7.

The album — the pop star’s first since the two-part The 20/20 Experience in 2013 — sports a nutty-crunchy tracklist (“Flannel,” “Livin’ Off the Land,” etc.), though first single “Filthy” is a robotic, funk-infected jam more in-line with past club-friendly efforts.

Before hitting the road, Timberlake will headline the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 4 — 13 years after the singer helped ignite a controversy by exposing Janet Jackson’s breast in what the pair later described as a “wardrobe malfunction.” (Of note: The Cleveland Browns are as close to winning a Super Bowl now as it was in 2004, a season in which the team won four games.)

The tour kicks off on March 13 and stops in 27 U.S. cities, closing in Timberlake’s hometown of Memphis on May 30.

Tickets go on sale Monday, Jan. 29. Visit nationwidearena.com for more information.
