Thomas is the incumbent while Bianconi and Probst are former commissioners.
Republican commissioner candidates are Jerry Echemann, Martins Ferry; and Christopher Gagin, St. Clairsville.
Current county auditor Roger P. Conway, Jacobsburg, filed for re-election on the Democrat ticket. No Republicans filed for the post.
State Representative for the 95th District candidates are Don Jones, Republican, Freeport, and Dan Milleson, Cadiz, Democrat. Current Representative Andy Thompson, Republican, of Marietta is not eligible to run for re-election due to Ohio’s term limits law.
