Second annual multi-disciplinary fest brings Milo, Mothers and more to Columbus.

Two Dollar Radio’s multi-disciplinary Flyover Fest is welcoming familiar faces and new guests for its return to Columbus May 10 -12, 2018. (Alive also returns as a media sponsor.)

Included in the lineup, announced in a press release, is hip-hop artist Milo, rock and folk band Mothers, Columbus-born poet and Alive contributor Hanif Willis-Abdurraqib and filmmaker Guy Maddin.

“We wanted to draw not solely from the incredible talent pool of Columbus,” Outer Orbit Booking’s Tom Konitzer said in the release, “but to bring in artists from the greater Midwest and across the country that we’re especially excited about, who we believe will complement one another.”

Last year’s festival drew over 1,000 attendees to multiple locations. This year’s extravaganza will remain in the same South Clintonville and North Campus neighborhoods but in some larger venues.

Film events, including Maddin’s screening of “The Green Fog,” will take place at the Wexner Center for the Arts. Concerts will be held at the Wex’s Black Box space, Spacebar and Ace of Cups, which will also host the Jeni’s Spendid Book & Record Fair.

The festivities will kick off at the Two Dollar Radio Headquarters on Thursday, May 10. The full lineup, as well as limited all-access passes can be found at theflyoverfest.com.
