The National Cambridge Collector's Museum of Cambridge Glass on U.S. 40 east is closed for the season due to the recent severe flooding. A total of 65 inches of floodwater filled the museum. A temporary museum has been established in a booth located at the Penny Court Antique Mall.

Cambridge High graduate Brad Wright, a redshirt-junior on The Ohio State University men's golf team, won the 2008 Ohio Publinx Tournament over the weekend. Wright fired rounds of 71-66-73-68 for a total of 10-under 278 to defeat Tom Ballinger of Mansfield, the 2007 champion, by two strokes on the par 72, 7,071-yard Cooks Creek Golf Course.
