STERLING — Noah Jr. Zimmerly, 70, of Sterling died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at Aultman Hospital in Canton after a period of declining health.

The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, at Crown Hill Mennonite Church, 9693 Benner Road, Rittman. He was born Oct. 5, 1946, in Sterling, the son of Noah and Elva (Blough) Zimmerly, and had attended Norwayne schools. He graduated in 1964 and attended Wayne College and Moody Bible College in Cuyahoga Falls.

Noah had been employed at The Will-Burt Co. in Orrville as a fabricator and also worked on the family farm until his disability.

Surviving are brothers, Dr. John (Wanda) Zimmerly of Rittman, James Zimmerly of Apple Creek, Paul (Doris) Zimmerly and Tim Zimmerly, both of Sterling; sisters, Ruth (Kenneth) Kurtz of Chesapeake, Va., and Martha Zimmerly of Sterling; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Elva Zimmerly; and sisters-in-law, Louise and Trula Zimmerly.
