Lots of awesome options this Friday. Let's do this:

•Alive is throwing the second installment of our Summer Music Tour tonight at Carabar, 115 Parsons Ave., featuring EYE, Psandwich, Guinea Worms, Steamboat and the debut of Raw Milk. This lineup is stacked, and the show is free. Read all about it, then get to the show by 9 p.m. so you don't miss any of the action. Also: a portion of your bar sales goes to the Columbus Music Co-op, so drink up.

•Assuming you don't go to our show, there's a pretty tremendous event at Newport Music Hall, 1722 N. High St. Sweatin' and roeVy have joined forces to present Let's Do This, a rock and dance extravaganza featuring DJ sets from roeVy (featuring moves by Queen Mae & the Bells), Mustard Pimp and Cornelius Jackson after rock-outs by The Receiver and The Town Monster. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 advance, $12 at the door.

•Bicentennial Bear is having their album release show at Kobo, 2590 N. High St., with Winter Makes Sailors, In Silent Movies and Dan Gerken. Learn about Bicentennial Bear's killer debut "Lost Summers" in my feature.

•Gorgeous Portland folkies Horse Feathers will be back in town at The Basement, 391 Neil Ave., with Hello Mtn and Cincinnati's The Ridges in tow. Doors open at 7 p.m., and tickets cost $12.
