OSU women's hockey brawl results in 19 suspensions and 287 minutes of penalty time. Go Bucks!
They lost the game, but they didn't go down without a fight...literally.
After a disappointing 2-3 loss to Bemidiji (that's an illegal use of a "J") State Tuesday night, the Ohio State University women's hockey team gave a collective "Aww Hell Nawww" when the opposing team began fervently celebrating their victory on OSU's ice.
The largest brawl in NCAA history promptly ensued, resulting in 19 OSU player suspensions and 287 penalty minutes.
In a press conference after the game, OSU Women's Hockey Head Coach Nate Handrahan described the game as "chippy," and said he didn't know what happened, but he was glad "to see our girls show some fight and spirit." Translation: "Come correct, or protec' ya neck."
"We don't like hootin' and hollerin' on our ice."
So in summation.... Buckeyes may be nuts, but they are nuts that kill.
"I'm listening to the f--king song!"
