As mentioned below, Nip/Tuck returns tonight with a makeover for its fifth season. The trashy, glitzy plastic surgery drama relocates to Beverly Hills, where former Miami residents Sean McNamara and Christian Troy face a new set of clients and a new set of problems. And, according to USA Today, a show that had become "deeply grim and strangely unattractive" has rediscovered its sense of fun. Tune in at 10 p.m. on FX.
Other TV highlights include beloved special It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (8 p.m., ABC) and a new show called Mars Rising (9 p.m., Science Channel) in which William Shatner talks about space.
The best live music option is at Skully's, 1151 N. High St., where The Main Street Gospel and Little Darlings unite for a night of rootsy shoegaze rock (the former) and furious, female-fronted rock (the latter). They're calling it "An Evening With the Devil." To preview the show, Main Street's Barry Dean wrote about some of his favorite records in this week's Alive.
Or you could go see ICP at LC Pavilion, you Juggalo you.
