Ain't it funny how holiday weekends always end up being more exhausting than recuperating? Well, seeing as there's no noteworthy concerts tonight, why not stay in and get some of the rest you so richly deserve?
TV has a couple promising choices, including the new interview show TCM Presents Elvis Mitchell: Under the Influence (8 p.m., TCM), which debuts with one of Sydney Pollack's final interviews. The Art of Failure: Chuck Connelly Not For Sale (9 p.m., HBO) follows the bridge-burning career of '80s painter Chuck Connelly, whose art is pictured at right. There's also the Bachelorette finale (8 p.m., ABC) and the Emeril Live! premiere (7 p.m., Fine Living), and I've heard good things about The Middleman (10 p.m., ABC Family).
