I'm back in Columbus, and just in time! Tomorrow our fair burg plays host to the hotly anticipated U.S.-Mexico World Cup qualifying match. Read all about it in my feature from last week. The game is drawing in fans from all over the country (and quite a few from Mexico too, I'm sure), and many of them are arriving tonight to get in the spirit before tomorrow's big contest. Gatherings are going down this evening at Claddagh, 585 S. Front St., where longtime U.S. supporters club Sam's Army will congregate to down brews and watch old U.S.-Mexico games on the big screen. The same thing will happen at Ruby Tuesday, 1978 Summit St., with the rogue Yanks known as American Outlaws in tow. Ruby's also has lined up Blastronauts to rock the house for free starting around 10 p.m.
