Allow me to make quick work of this weekend's hottest music options:

Tonight The Treehouse, 887 Chambers Rd., hosts the Josh Fitzwater and the Shambles CD release, which I already wrote about here and here. The Lost Revival and Karate Coyote will play too.

What about this doozy at Carabar, 115 Parsons Ave.? Struck By Lightning, Mouth of the Architect, Nukkehammer, Bastards and Bestfriends. In the words of Marty McFly: "Heavy."

Saturday brings the Columbus debut of Drummer, the latest great band to emerge from the incestuous Akron/Kent scene, at The Summit, 2210 Summit St. The group features five drummers repurposed into new roles, including Patrick Carney of The Black Keys on bass. DoneWaiting has an MP3. Also on board for Saturday are Deathly Fighter, The Unholy Two and The Guitars.

Next door at Cafe Bourbon Street, 2216 Summit St., they'll be hosting a sick show (previewed here) featuring Mika Miko, The Strange Boys and Ipps.

Sunday's finest is undoubtedly Dirty Projectors at the Wexner Center. Read my preview to find out why. Here's one more reason: Skeletons will open.
