Quick Monday music highlights comin' atcha:
•Chicago quintet Santah will do their best Kings of Leon impression (with a side of Steely Dan) in an early show at Rumba Cafe, 2507 Summit St. Here's a recent Filter interview to chew on. Local dude Phil Cogley's art-rock solo project The Saturday Giant will play too. 7 p.m. start.
•Air Waves, a jangly Brooklyn rock combo that has collaborated with Sharon Van Etten, is set for The Treehouse, 887 Chambers Rd. Like Pavement circa "Crooked Rain Crooked Rain", they sound graceful in the "I'm so drunk (or lazy) that I might fall over but for now I'm maintaining my balance" sense of the word. 10 p.m. kickoff on that one. Also on tap: local shoegaze pros Love Culture and Virginia's Screen Vinyl Image. 10 p.m. start.
•If you're a Steve Albini fan, you could show up to the Riffe Center's Capitol Theater to fling insults at TV foodie Guy Fieri. (Here's why.) That would be pretty expensive, though.
