Steven Soderbergh has essentially made a new version of "Outbreak," except this time instead of ebola it's Gwyneth Paltrow who threatens to kill off the world's population. Just kidding. Well, sort of. Luckily, Paltrow dies halfway through the trailer (Gwyneth, that's what you get for singing "Forget You."), so you can bet that she'll die fairly early in the movie, at which point you can sit back and enjoy the talented other cast members.
And this movie has quite the cast. Sure, there's Matt Damon, Jude Law and Kate Winslet. But it also has Marion Cotillard ("Inception," "La Vie en Rose" and the magical "Midnight in Paris"), Bryan Cranston, Laurence Fishburne and John Hawkes, who was rightly honored with an Oscar nomination in last year's "Winter's Bone." My guess is, "Contagion" is going to be dangerously good.
