Alexis Perrone answers pick up line questions.
Campus-area Kobo is spicing up its weeknights with guest bartenders. Tonight between 8 and 10 p.m. you can meet Alive's marketing maven Alexis Perrone (for more inventive ways Kobo and other local rock venues are staying relevant, read this article by Chris DeVille). You should go say hi. I've done some ground work for you. Below, Alexis' answers to my highly-invasive, appropriate-after-a-drink-or-two queries (full disclosure: I have not been drinking).
Also, it's Monday '90s night at Kobo... what are you waiting for?
If you could bring three things to a deserted island, what would they be?
Alexis: A copy of Streetlight Manifesto "Everything Goes Numb," "Catcher in the Rye" to read, a volleyball to be my friend.
Marry, Kiss, Kill between Prince Harry (the redhead), Prince Charles (the dad) and Prince William (the one who just got married).
Alexis: Marry Harry, Kiss Will, Kill Charles.
If you have a drunk "THIS SONG'S ABOUT ME" moment what would the song be?
Alexis: "True Believers," by the Bouncing Souls.
What's your favorite drink?
Alexis: Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold and a shot of Jameson.
What '90s song should one request tonight to impress you?
Alexis: "Banditos," by The Refreshments or "Flagpole Sitta," by Harvey Danger. Both are fun to sing along to and realize you remember all the words.
What's your sign, girl?
Alexis: It's the age of Aquarius.
