Two sales worth checking out.
Wholly Craft! 6th Anniversary Sale
Noon-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8
3169 N. High St., Clintonville
High five to owner Olivera Bratich (pictured) for six years of providing readers with a place to find unique and local goods. To celebrate, she's offering 10 percent off storewide, door prizes for the first 25 customers and all-day giveaways.
Fireproof Storage Parking Lot
11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9
1024 N. High St., Short North
This is the final open-air market of the Columbus Flea 2011 season. T-shirts, jewelry, crafts and records will be up for grabs. Last time I went I got a "Best of The Animals" mint condition vinyl for $1.50. This sale rocks. Get some grub and shop the sweetness yourself. This edition's highlight (for me at least): Local music legend Ron House will be selling from his vintage vinyl collection.
