My Morning Jacket and Band of Horses will make bearded, sensitive men (and lovers of bearded, sensitive men) very happy when they play LC Pavilion on August 12. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for $39 advance, $43 day of show.

Also on sale Friday at 10: Recurring Jams of the Week honorees Beach House will headline Newport Music Hall on July 20 in support of their dreamy new Sub Pop release "Bloom." Tickets cost $20 advance, $22 day of show.

Darius Rucker will play post-Hootie country hits at LC Pavilion on August 23. Tickets cost $32.50 advance and $35 day of. You guessed it: They go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Completing the list of big Friday on-sales, Dream Theatre will progress to LC Pavilion June 19. Tickets cost $35 no matter when you buy 'em.

Alt-rock cult favorites Gomez are set for a July 22 stop at the Newport. Tickets for this one go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m., $20 advance and $25 day of.

This one was announced just after last week's concert post: Underground metal heavy hitters High on Fire hit Outland Live on July 26. Tickets are on sale now for $14 advance, $16 day of show.

Lastly, classic rock fans rejoice! REO Speedwagon will play Huntington Park on June 14. There's something right about this band performing at a state-of-the-art minor league baseball stadium in the heart of a bustling Midwest city. Tickets are on sale now for $25 and $20.
